Step 1: When you create a new connection, for example as shown here in Connect To hadoop article, you will get to Preview Screen.
Step 2: On preview screen, select the column in which you want to replace date and click on down arrow.
Step 3: Click on "To Date" from the "Data type conversion" in the dropdown list under transform section. It will open up a pop up window for replace date.
Step 4: Select the required date format in which you want to transform from the drop down and click on Apply.
Step 5: Once you click on Apply, the system will apply the date replace operation on data considering the features selected and dates will be transformed accordingly.
